Round 3 of the NZ MTB Cup on Mt Vic on 19 Feb was a steep and technical race for Bridget and Josh. It was the first MTB race of the summer for both of them and handed out a fair share of challenges. Josh recorded 1000m vertical climbing for the 28km Elite mens race which sums up the steep, technical tracks being raced. Josh placed 11th Elite men, and Bridget 5th Elite women.
Round 4 came to the Eskdale MTB Park on 26 Feb. Knowing the home trails well, and having an awesome amount of local support made for a brilliant day of racing with Josh finishing 8th Elite Men, and Bridget 4th Elite Women. Also congratulations to another local rider, Luke Osborne, finishing 16th in the Elite mens race.
