Introduction to Cyclocross: 25th March

Where: Roys Hill Reserve, Highway 50

When: Between 11am and 2pm

Here’s your chance to try out cyclocross. Carl Paton will be meeting at EIT from 9:30am to lead a ride to Roys Hill and direct a skills and training session so don't miss out on this be there sharp to join the team on the ride to the venue.CXHB are then hosting a kids event and a family/recreational ride around the lower slopes of the park as part of the official opening of the park by Hastings District Council.

You can practice on the course from 11am, and the kids event will start at noon.

There is no entry fee – just bring some energy and any bike that can handle riding off-road.

There will also be other events and activities including a bouncy castle, a sausage sizzle, face painting, train rides and an aerial display by HB Radio Flyers.
