Registration
All riders are required to attend registration to collect their timing transponder (so you can have proof of your awesome event time) and race pack (there are goodies in here so you won’t want to miss out on this!).
When: 1pm – 5pm Saturday 15th October
Where: Netball Building at the Sports Park, Percival Road, Hastings (near the netball courts and separate from the main grandstand)
Unsigned Entry Forms
Any rider who posted in their entry and who has NOT signed their entry must do so at registration at the Late Entries and Payments desk.
Unpaid Entries and Clothing Entries
A friendly reminder that online and cheque payments have now closed.
All outstanding entry fees and clothing order payments can be made by cash or eftpos at registration (sorry, NO credit cards or cheques can be accepted at registration)

If you got in early and have already ordered and paid for event clothing this can be collected from Registration (t-shirts and hoodies) or the Tineli tent (cycling kit)
Start Times
*** Remember to bring safety pins for you race number***
(or superglue or staples,... we don’t care what you use to attach it, it’s your shirt after all but all riders MUST wear their race number)
What are the start times?
All riders must be assembled in, or near, the start area 10 minutes before their event is due to start for the pre-event briefing.
The event is on Sunday 16th October and the start times are :
9:00am 105km
9:20am 50km
9:25am 20km
9:30am 10km

List Spot Prizes: for 20km, 50km, 105km riders
After you’ve completed your event head over to the Grandstand building and look out for the Pak’n’Save banner. This is where you can check out the list spot-prize winners lists.
If your rider number and name are on there, congratulations, you’ve won a prize! To claim your prize present your rider number to the crew at the spot-prize table. There are further prizes to be won at...
Prize Giving: 2pm Grandstand
50km and 105km riders, please be seated, with your rider number, in the Grandstand, no later than 2pm.
(If you’re feeling lucky we suggest you sit near the front – it’ll be a hard slog lugging that new bike or flat screen television up the stairs...)
At prize giving the EarlyBird prize winner will be announced along with further spot prizes for the 50km and 105km riders. And yes, even if you were on the “list spot prize” list you are still in with a chance for another spot prize at prize giving.
Note that you must be at prize giving, with your race number, to be eligible for a spot prize.
Finally
We want you to have a great day at the 2011 Caltex Tour of the Bay so please make sure your bike and helmet are in good safe condition, pay close attention to the pre-race briefing and marshals and take care out there!
