Bronze for Kerry Harford at the Worlds
Points racing is a track discipline where the race is won by the rider who consistently places highly in sprints every ten laps. Points are awarded to the first four riders across the sprint line. Of 70 riders in his age group, Kerry made it into the final with just 23 other riders remaining. He won a few of the first sprints and maintained second place for most of the race, slipping a few points near the end which never-the-less enabled a podium finish and a Bronze World championship medal. Congratulations Kerry.
