Bike NZ Cycling Development Co-coordinator Vicki Butterworth wants to get more Hawke’s Bay people using bikes to ride to work. The aim is to encourage, promote and educate people about the benefits of commuting by bike to work and in 2011 the BikeNZ Napier Commuter challenge will be run for the third year! It’s a fun and healthy way to start the day so why not!
NEW FORMAT: Based on feedback and responses, some exciting changes have been made. The biggest change will be that we will only have ONE WEEK of ‘breakfast treats’! A big thank you to all organisations and business’s coming on board again, they invest in cycle commuting - so remember to thank them for their support.
GRAND PRIZE: In conjunction with Bayview Wairakei Resort, Taupo, you could win a weekend away in Taupo (a luxury nights’ accommodation, dinner and breakfast) with the opportunity to ride part of the NZ Cycle Trails.
