Huge thanks to all those involved – lead drivers, sag crews, packers, lay-out crews, registration crew, 10km herders, tag gatherers, marshals, commentary crew, prize-giving crew, supporters, and gophers. Special thanks to the core organising committee: Gavin Bush (Event Director), Ken MacKenzie (STMS and TOB Chair), Deb Kelly (Admin), Vanessa van Kampen (Admin), Ivar Hopman and Helen MacKenzie.
We do have a red tee-shirt and a pair of black spectacles left by TOB helpers.
Feedback has been resoundingly positive – registration was smooth, the new courses were challenging and rewarding, the finish area was stunning and the prize-giving was slick (as well as comfortable for the riders). An excellent outcome for the 21st Caltex Tour of the Bay.
If you have equipment left over from the weekend (vests, transponders, signage etc), please bring it along to the Saturday race or give it to one of your friendly committee members.
