Rabodirect Club Road National Championships, Wanganui 2011

Our Team Managers were Warren Foulds (days 1 & 2) and Ivar Hopman (days 3 & 4). Feedback from riders and support crew is that they did a fantastic job.
On behalf of all club members, thanks Warren and Ivar for stepping up and organising our riders so well.
Thank you also to the family and friends who formed support crews every day.
It makes a big difference to riders to know you are there.
Club Nationals 2011: Final Results for Ramblers
Andrew Townsend: M3 male - ITT gold
Ingrid Perols: M4 female - ITT silver
Fraser Gough: U19 male - ITT silver,RR gold
Kerri-Anne Torckler: Elite female - ITT bronze, RR silver
Craig Hill - 1st in C2 Paracycling
Unfortunately (because of the way rules and times are structured by Bike NZ Road and Track) Craig Hill was not awarded an actual gold medal (as stated in the last eNews). Craig did never-the-less finish first in his grade and the club acknowledges this fantastic effort.
Special mention also to U19 women Hannah van Kampen and Megan Watson.
Although not on the podium, Hannah had an excellent Nationals coming 4th in the ITT and 6th in the road race.
Megan put in a gutsy ride to complete the first lap in support of Hannah before having to DNF with an injury.
