Andrew Townsend showed his true class again today taking the Gold Medal in the Vet 3 Mens with the next 4 places back to Kerry Harford all within 1 minute.
Corban Mason-Smith (CHB) had a great ride to take gold over Connell Leahy and Sam Dobbs in the u15 Boys.
Ingrid Perol silver in the vet 4 woman 8 secs behind Julie Bosnaham.
Fraser Gough silver 16 seconds behind James Oram who was the fastest of the day 31:27 over 25kms.
Kerri-anne Torckler took bronze in the elite womens grade 1:36 behind Sarah Morrison (Gold 22:54) and Karen Fulton (Silver)
Bret Harte was unlucky to be placed 4th in the vet 4 mens after a 10 second start penalty put him 5 seconds behind Andrew Morrissey, Ray Dunstan (Gold 33:42) with Jim McMurray silver.
Hannah Van Kampen rode well to be also pipped for a medal coming 4th, Georgia Williams took the gold in the u19.
Craig Hill (Ramblers) was the fastest of the paracyclists but was out of the medals after C4 calculation.
Alan Black completed the foursome of 4'ths finishing behind Gary Ferguson, Gary Overend and Colin Claxton in the masters 6 men.
Robin Thompson CHB rode down a grade to Masters 6 and showed most of the other young lasses how it's done taking the Bronze.
Peter Strong also CHB proved they make them to last down there taking the Silver in the Masters 8 grade.
The under 17 boys showed how competitive this grade is with Scott Ambrose (42.3 kmh), Vladimir Stewart and Boris Clark taking the Medals, Regan Gough CHB 14th and Damien Lysaght 22nd at 2:20 the best of the Ramblers in the 44 strong field.
