It's that time of year again and entries are now OPEN for Tour of the Bay.
This Hawke's Bay event has now been running for over 20 years, with more than
1000 riders of all ages participating last year. This year will be the 21st Anniversary for the fun ride on Sunday October 16th 2011.
For 2011 we have four exciting new courses with distances of 105km, 50km, 20km and 10km meaning there is a ride suitable for cyclists of any age and ability.
Starting from Sports Park Hawke's Bay in Hastings, you will ride through magnificent countryside on peaceful country roads finishing Ormond Road ("Oak

Riders who register before 7th October for the 50km and 105km events will go into a special draw with a chance to win an earlybird Bluebridge ferry prize pack, a return trip for two people and a car on Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry (Conditions Apply). There are also major prizes to be won by lucky 50km and 105km riders in this fun, friendly cycling event!
It's a great build up for those training for the Lake Taupo Challenge and is part of the RideStrong Recreational Ranking Series.
Entry forms can be downloaded from the event website and entry will also be available online at www.tourofthebay.co.nz Event entry is open till end of registration on Saturday October 15th, at the Hawke's Bay Regional Sports Park.
