Approximately 30 riders (including quite a few RCC members) rode the first race on Sunday 26th June. Congratulations to Dan Warren (first Rambler home in A – and winner) and to Fraser MacKenzie (first Rambler home in B – and in second place).
There are three race days left in this series so if you want a bit of fun as a spectator or as a rider, it comes strongly recommended.
Go to the CXHB website http://cxhb.blogspot.com/ to find a write-up of the day, as well as links for each of the 3 races (A, B and Kids) for you to see some very cool pictures taken around EIT – up steps, and through trees, muddy tracks and paddocks!
This was a day with something for everyone... it’s well worth making it out to the Esk Mountain Bike Park on the 24th July – whether you are riding, or whether you just want to be entertained for a couple of hours.
If you have got young children (no entry fee), it’s a safe and fun opportunity for them to get some bike skills away from cars.
The organizers thank RCC for their support.
