Minimum Age Requirement to Ride

We have had inquiries from members asking what the minimum age limit is to ride and race with the RCC. Children up to 13 years old are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian until such time as the race starter / Club Captain is satisfied that the junior is proficient to race by themselves. This decision may be at different ages for different riders, but each junior’s competence and experience will be assessed. Parents are expected to accompany children below 13 years of age both to/from the race as well as during the race.
