Green in Verde at TA

Up and down day today at Te Awamutu Junior Tour
Highlights of the Day
Phoebe Treseder was the highlight of the day winning u17 Girls stage 2 in an epic bunch sprint wearing the green jersey into stage 3. Phoebe is 9th on GC 1:06 from leader. Holly Atkins at 13th is having a good tour Maxyna Cottam remains in second place.
William Green Takes first sprint in u17 'boys to wear the green into race 3 after all of the boys contributed in a planned attack on the Mailljout Verde.






Kerri-Anne Torckler Retains Yellow in Open Women 9 secs ahead of Rachel Larner
Corbin Mason Smith in second by 2 seconds in u15 boys.
Fraser Gough second in u19 boys by 12 seconds to James Oram with 1 stage tomorrow
Logan Bean finished in the U19 bunch after trying to attack with a km to go.
Luke Mudgway finished strongest from the bay in the 3rd stage of the u17 boys, Regan Gough 9th at 40 secs and Damien Lysaght 14th at 45 secs both have a real chance in the final race tomorrow.

Not so flash.
Hannah Van Kampen touched wheels and had minor crash but unable to catch bunch and relinquished her 3rd placing. With nothing to lose she should be able to have a good crack at tomorrows 3rd and final stage.

It looks as though the weather should hold for tomorrow and racing looks like it's is going to be demanding with several km's of the circuit freshly sealed in large chip.
