Hi all
Well this is most likely to be my last update to you all from the Italy road.
It has truly been an amazing 6weeks. I have seen so much, learnt so much, experienced so much; All because the wheels on my bike go round and round. Its incredible to think of all the places I have been to thanks to cycling. I have made so many friends and loved the culture I have encountered. I also think I have become a phrase book expert!
I have almost finished packing, except for the bike of course. That will go in the day before we leave. I have joined the rank of riders who turn their handle bars up so training can still go on on a windtrainer one armed.
So as for a general sum of the journey I am lost for words. Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan, Holland, Belgium.. Where to begin? I simply cannot describe the trip, and how I have felt through it all. I have learnt so much about myself in particular and I am so excited (if not a little bewildered also!)about what the future has in store.
Thank-you.
For the support that everyone has given me. Whether that has been financial support; offering encouragement and advice, mechanical and technical stuff (thanks pedal power boys and virtual Carl on his computrainer!) food and nutrition, equipment, or simply following my updates and sending back your love. I have honestly been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and love of all those involved. My sincere thank you goes out to you all.
I am looking forward to landing home on Monday morning and choosing the next fork in the road. (once I heal)
