The morning started with road races over two circuits on quiet roads in rolling country south west of Rotorua.
Under 15 boys
A 20km road race with Wills and Regan finishing in the top five after Boris Clarke (TA) broke away and had 20 secs at 1 point finishing 15 Seconds ahead. The rest were comfortable in the bunch. (James Fulford, Regan Gough, William Green, Tobias Robershawe and Clean Shaven "Slick" James Lochhead)

Under 17 Boys
Alex McCory-Bowick brock away from the gun, got out to 30 secs with 1 other rider. He held this lead for most of the 60 km winning by five seconds with Fraser Gough 4th. Sam Clarke, Lance Welch and Tim Lutter finished in the bunch with Logan Bean chasing hard but unable to get back. Duncan MacKenzie had a tough day after last weekend pulling out after injuring his knee.
Under 19 Girls
Ella Stadler-Andrews (ex Rambler currently riding in England) showed her sprint prowess taking this race with Ashely Neave well placed 4th. The under 19 girls where racing with Open Woman making this finish more impressive The bunch was split early in the race. Sarah Watson started after having a bad night with a stomach bug but pulled out at 20km.
Under 19 Boys
Sean Joyce had a great day taking out this race after Tom Findlay, Taylor Gunman and Patrick Bevan palyed team tag with the peleton. Rory Mac Kenzie took advantage of a lull in the race to break away 3/4 of the way around on the 3rd Lap. Sean and 6 others got across to Rory and this small break finished about a minute ahead of the main bunch. Rory finished 6th.
Jeremy Stephens finished 12th in with the main bunch. Simon Pepper finished off the back after and altercation with a stone.
