Robbie has asked if you can forward notification to all club members inviting them to compete in the Club Duathlon Championships to be held on the 9th May starting & finishing from Johnson's Electrical Waipukurau.
The racing is to start @ 1.00pm and we would expect people to start registering at 12.00pm
The categories are
Open Men
Open Women
Vet Men (Over 40)
Vet Women (Over 40)
Junior Men (Under 18)
Junior Women (Under 18)
We will also accommodate teams
There will be a short and long course championship.
Short: 2.5km run, 9km Cycle, 2.5km run
Long: 5km run, 27km Cycle, 5km run
The event is open to all Cycling CHB members, and is also open to Ramblers & HBMSC members as well as the public. However, only Cycling CHB members are eligible for the club champs.
It has been advertised through the HBMSC monthly newsletter that there is a cost to register for the event. This is NOT correct, there will be no fee for Cycling CHB, Ramblers & HBMSC members. There will though be a fee of $10.00 for people who are not a member of any of these three clubs if they want to compete.
