There are several online cycling communities worth checking out if you haven't already!
Firstly you may have heard of RideStrong, www.ridestrong.co.nz. Its a new cycling organisation dedicated to promoting safe and enjoyable environments for all cyclists - free to join or not, you choose your level and they have some great prizes up for grabs.

Vorb is another cycling website, traditionally for MTBers but seems to be getting more and more following by Roadies and Trampers. A local roadie rider is trying to start a Hawkes Bay section - the thread is worth checking out! While there have a look, some interesting bikes!
