Yes, it’s time for our juniors to take their bikes to Waiamarama again. 14th-17th December.
This is an annual training camp which focuses on skills training and development of a supportive team mentality. In the past, experienced cyclists have run short workshops on skills, nutrition and bike maintenance. Coach, Ivar Hopman, runs a tight ship but never-the-less insists on fun (a mandatory requirement of the 4 days).
There is a small cost, but Ramblers subsidises this experience for our juniors. Thank you to Pub Charity for their support.
