Organised as a recreational cycling event, you can enter as a solo, 2 person relay or 3 to 4 person relay and caters for all level of cyclists. Teams need to provide their own support vehicles which will be given strict instructions for the day.
The premier race will start at The Square at 7.30am. followed at 8.00am by the tandems, solos and relay riders. The finish is outside Memorial Park. A new innovation on the New Zealand recreational cycle scene is included, the Country Road Recreational Handicap Challenge and will see solo riders receiving an age based time.
