2010 Lion Foundation Cycle Challenge

The date for the Lion Foundation Cycle Challenge for 2010 is

Sunday 14th February to Saturday 20th February 2010.

It will start in Lower Hutt & Finish in Pukekohe.
Early event details are on the clubs web site. www.wakaroc.co.nz

NOTE: There will be an "Elite" section in the event if there are enough elite riders wanting to do it.

Le Tour de France Breakfast!






Come join us to watch on the BIG SCREEN a High Mountain stage, from Andorra though the Pyrenees, into Saint Girons in the south of France.
This 176.5km stage is part two of the Pyrenees triptych, with three ascents to offer the climbers a chance to stand out. Bring a mate and come watch this stage with 2x Cat 1 climbs that will undoubtedly produce some surprises! With a coffee and pastry it’s just like you were there!


Stage 8 Saturday 11th July Andorra to Saint Girons


Where: ‘CafĂ©’ Pettigrew Green Arena, upstairs in the Lady Pettigrew Theatre
Date: Sunday July 12th from 7am - 9 am
(Followed by Club ride, so bring your bike!)
Cost: $20.00 per ticket (Includes Croissant, pastry and coffee!)

Focus Health Yoga Classes

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that is ideal for active, fit, and healthy individuals. The main benefits of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga are:

- stilling of the mind
- increased stamina
- increased flexibility of the body
- increased core strength
- increased ability to focus and to achieve set goals
- increased immunity and a better health

There are two new beginner classes starting in the week of July 20th.

06.45-07.45: a ‘men only’ class before work. Day of the week to be decided by the new students.

11.45-12.45: lunch break yoga (all welcome). Day of the week to be decided by the new students..

All our classes are held at Focus Health Physio, 87a Te Mata Road, Havelock North.
